Private Practice for Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine
I strive to provide excellent individual and personal care. This means taking time to follow children in their development and to address parents’ questions and concerns.
My medical training has taken place mostly in Munich. Additionally, I have worked in the United States (Stanford and Minneapolis), in Australia (Sydney) and Switzerland (Lausanne). Apart from specialising in General Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine I also have specialised further in Pediatric Cardiology and Neonatology. I have also got additional qualifications in psychosomatic primary care, Diving Medicine and Emergency Medicine. In addition to the membership in the German Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, the German Society for Pediatric Cardiology, I am also a member of the Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine and as an active member of the working group for children’s diving. Since 2018 I also work for the Technical Universitiy Munich in the field of pediatric sports medicine and preventive care.

Regular preventive check-ups to monitor the cognitive, physical, and social development of children and adolescents are essential for healthy growth. I offer vaccinations, hearing and vision tests, ultrasound examinations of the hips, chest, heart, abdomen, kidneys, head, and thyroid, as well as comprehensive health assessments and laboratory testing.
Vaccination
Vaccinations are among the most effective tools in modern medicine for preventing infectious diseases before they occur. As a key form of primary prevention, they prepare the body for exposure to pathogens and help build active immunity. I provide guidance on recommended and required vaccination schedules and administer all vaccinations directly in the practice.
Diving and Sports Medicine
As a pediatrician in Starnberg with additional training in diving medicine, I perform fitness-for-diving examinations for both children and adults. I continually expand my expertise as a member of the German Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine and the Working Group for Child Diving, and through my work in the Department of Pediatric Sports Medicine at the Technical University of Munich.

In pediatric practice, parents often report symptoms that cannot be traced to an underlying organic illness. My training in basic psychosomatic care enables me to identify these conditions, manage them effectively, and recommend appropriate therapeutic options.
Allergology
Allergology focuses on diagnosing and treating allergic conditions such as hay fever, asthma, and atopic dermatitis. Specialized tests—including prick, patch, and RAST tests—help identify sensitization to specific allergens.
